Trilogy wins UKTI sponsored “Exporter of the year 09/10”

Issued April 2010

At a gala dinner at the Officers Mess, Marlborough Lines, Andover, which is soon to become the Headquarters of UK Land Forces, Trilogy Communications was announced as winner of the Test Valley Business Awards “Exporter of the Year”.

In a year which has seen Trilogy also awarded the much coveted Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade, Mike Knight, CEO of Trilogy was delighted to accept the accolade from Martin Gower-Smith, International Trade Adviser, UKTI South East, and television presenter and environmental spokesman, Chris Packham.

With a successful track record over the past 20 years in the broadcast sector these achievements are based upon the increasing demand for Trilogy’s Mercury ES solution. Beginning with the US Air Force Trilogy has now seen the Mercury ES system successfully deployed in a number of countries around the world. Within the first few months of 2010 this COTS product has been selected as a core component of another major national C4ISR system.

Many new opportunities are now being addressed and the expectation is for continued export growth as the importance of C4ISR operations intensifies and with it Trilogy’s ability to fulfil those needs grows ever more important.

Mercury ES provides defence and intelligence functions with a high-capacity, distributed communications capability that facilitates multi-level and cross domain security. Unprecedented in terms of quality, sophistication and speed the system makes information sharing and decision making across organisations easier than ever.

Mercury ES operates on LANs/WANs over terrestrial or satellite-based IP networks. Users can participate in multiple communications simultaneously - including direct, conference and monitor-only. In addition, radios, telephones and other technologies can be linked to the system to provide users with a unified communications control panel.
